McGill Journal of Political Studies

The McGill Journal of Political Studies (MJPS) is the journal of the Political Science Students’ Association (PSSA) of McGill University. MJPS contains two divisions: print and online. The two divisions work together to provide premier political analysis and showcase work from the best political science students at McGill University and beyond. Both divisions highlight exceptional work produced by undergraduates across all four political science disciplines offered at McGill: international relations, comparative politics, political theory, and Canadian politics.

THE MCGILL JOURNAL OF POLITICAL STUDIES (PRINT) IS THE UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC JOURNAL FOR MCGILL UNIVERSITY’S DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE.

The McGill Journal of Political Studies (Print) is a well-established journal dedicated to showcasing the strongest and most compelling McGill undergraduate research papers. The editorial and production process of MJPS Print is exclusively student-led and the journal is published annually at McGill University. MJPS Print provides undergraduate students a platform to display their works of high academic achievement, and encourages thoughtful exchange of ideas and dialogue between students and faculty

MJPS offers undergraduate students a forum to showcase their works of high academic achievement, and encourage thoughtful exchange of ideas and dialogue between students, faculty and other influencers.

THE MCGILL JOURNAL OF POLITICAL STUDIES (ONLINE) IS THE UNDERGRADUATE NEWS PUBLICATION FOR MCGILL UNIVERSITY’S DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE.

The online division of MJPS was initially created in order to publish an online copy of the yearly print journal. It has since expanded into an autonomous wing, publishing daily political analysis for a more general audience. Through a selective application process, the MJPS recruits a team of staff writers who produce the bulk of articles across the four main sections. Contributions from outside the staff are also welcomed, including from non-McGill students.
